From the early days of the firm’s history, Mark Eichstaedt has sought out a talented collection of partners and accountants who believe that a successful client relationship is based as much on the ability to interact with people as what appears on the bottom line.

Many years later, that approach hasn’t changed. “It’s incredibly rewarding to be able to work with professionals who I respect, who are competent and with whom I have shared values,” Eichstaedt says. “I felt like the Lone Ranger for a long time, doing by myself what I thought was right. Now we are a team of professionals looking out for the best interest of our clients.”

Professionals come to Eichstaedt & Devereaux for a number of reasons and with a wide variety of experiences. Some of our staff accountants have come to the firm directly from some of the best universities, some join from other firms and others come to accounting from completely different career paths. Indeed, today’s staff includes a former chef and a former hotelier who have made successful moves to this profession.

Beyond day-to-day responsibilities, the employees at Eichstaedt & Devereaux are encouraged to continue to grow via a mentor program that has been instituted by the partners and managers. The firm also offers the opportunity for continuing education in related fields.
